Mediation is a process in which a third-party neutral works with disputing parties to help resolve conflict. It can offer a more affordable and efficient path to resolution than traditional litigation and may provide opportunities for resolution that may not be available in court.

Fee Schedules | Cancellation + Rescheduling Policies

Civil Mediation Services 

$250 per hour

• Initial phone consultation (15 minutes):  Free
• Minimum scheduling period:  2 hours.
• Once mediation commences, the scheduling fee becomes non-refundable.
• Time in excess of the minimum scheduling period is billed to the nearest half hour.
• Pre-mediation time:  Pre-mediation review of documents or phone conferences in excess of 15 minutes will be billed to the party making such request, at a rate of $50.00 per hour.
• To reserve a date, advance payment of the two-hour minimum (scheduling fee) is required.  If your matter meets certain criteria, you may reserve a date with your attorney’s guarantee of payment.
• Attorney Guarantee of Payment:  Payment is due within 5 days of the scheduled mediation.
• A $100 fee is assessed for cancellation or rescheduling less than 3 business days before the scheduled mediation.
• A request to cancel or reschedule must be submitted in writing.
• Scheduling details and policies are provided during the scheduling process.
• Multi-party cases (in excess of 2) – Please call for fee determination.
• Mediations are conducted via Zoom videoconference.

County Mediation Services

$125 per hour

• Initial phone consultation (15 minutes) :  Free
• Minimum scheduling period:  2 hours.

Family Mediation Services

$275 per hour

• Initial phone consultation (15 minutes):  Free
• Minimum scheduling period(s):  Divorce | Paternity | Modification:  2 hours
• Once mediation commences, the scheduling fee becomes non-refundable.
• Time in excess of the minimum scheduling period is billed to the nearest half hour.
• Pre-mediation time:  Pre-mediation review of documents or phone conferences in excess of 15 minutes will be billed to the party making such a request, at a rate of $50.00 per hour.
• $575 (minimum) – Flat fee for preparation of the Marital Settlement Agreement – Fee due in advance of document preparation.
• To reserve a date, advance payment of the two-hour minimum scheduling period is required.  
• Attorney Guarantee of Payment:  Payment is due within 5 days of the scheduled mediation.
• A $100 fee is assessed for cancellation or rescheduling less than 3 business days before the scheduled mediation.
• A request to cancel or reschedule must be submitted in writing.

You will receive an email confirming your reservation upon full payment of the minimum scheduling period for your selected mediation type.  The fee must be paid in full within five (5) business days of your requested date to remain on the calendar.

  • The parties will receive written notice of the fee structure and policies prior to mediation. This provision does not apply to mediations scheduled through an approved state or federal program.

Other Important Information

• ACCEPTED PAYMENT:  You can pay by debit card, Discover Card, MasterCard, Visa, or American Express. 

• INVOICES:  All invoices are due and payable upon receipt.  Any invoice issued may incur a late fee of 1.5% of the outstanding balance for each month the amount remains unpaid.
